Текст объявы:
Want something a little different?
You are looking at my NSU Prinz. This is an absolutely brilliant little car, and I wish I could get along with it, but unfortunately I am too used to bigger cars, and I need something like an estate (a classic one of course). The Prinz is amazing, and everybody who sees it loves it, but it is also very small. As much as I like it, practicality must come first, and I don't have the space for any more cars .
These cars are absolutely brilliant to drive, handle very nicely, get very good fuel mileage, and are surprisingly comfortable for such a small car. They have a rear-mounted aircooled engine and a generous boot in the front.
This being a Super/De Luxe Prinz IV L (according to the handbook anyway) also makes it even slightly rarer, but the biggest appeal by far is it's originality/condition. It seems it used to belong to a museum too.
This particular Prinz is original, unrestored, and in great condition. It only has 40k genuine miles on the clock, the floor has never been welded (and does not need any!), it has a massive file of paperwork including a birth certificate from Audi, full archive history 1971-2011, photos of it from the 1970s, original key (plus modern repro spare), original service stamp/handbook, workshop manual, many many receipts, etc.
Mechanically it's all in great condition. Recently the brakes have been rebuilt (stainless steel sleeved master cylinder, new wheel cylinder, CuNiFe pipes, new brake hoses and shoes), the clutch was replaced, it had a major service (oil, filter, plugs, points, advance mechanism springs, carb rebuild) and various other things.
It has all brand new bulbs (inc French 2cv headlight bulbs, which are a little brighter than the original prinz bulbs!), fuses etc, and comes with a spares kit which includes at least one (often more) spare bulb/fuse for every type used in the car.
It comes with a few special tools that I accumulated too, like a carb spanner, clutch removal tool and clutch alignment tool.
The body is in great condition, rust-free apart from one strip of bubbling in a localized area on one gutter, it's unfortunate, but it seems it got dripped on there some time in the past. I just ignore it. Apart from that everything is in excellent condition, and apart from a few minor imperfections and a couple of dings from when some careless lady opened her car door into it in a car park, there is nothing really to even point out. It is finished in it's original color, VW/Audi L282 Lotusweiss, and some paint is included for any future touchups etc.
The interior is also in great condition, with no major damage/rips/etc anywhere. The saloon lamp works as it should, as do all the windows, locks, fixtures/fittings etc. The parcel shelf is present and in good condition.
Everything works as it should, and it even has a tow bar (which appears to be fitted from new!). The tow bar has electrics including a trailer buzzer which work. Even the clock works.
It even has reasonably new tires, it's original spare, etc.
The only very slight modifications are:
-Electric fuel pump to replace the original mechanical pump which is prone to vapor-lock. Has a fuel pressure regulator with gage and a fuel filter too.
-Fire extinguisher in the saloon (easily removable).
-Oil temperature gage.
-Radio that looks like an old period radio, but actually has a USB socket for charging things and a line-in socket for Ipods etc hidden inside what used to be the tape deck.
It has a new MOT this moth, no advisories, is taxed, and ready to go.
Absolutely must be seen, you will not be disappointed.
There is so much more to say about this car, for more info call.
Located in Dorset. Best way to get hold of me is by phone, call any time, I don't sleep much.
